Geosythetic clay liner (GCL) 

GCL consists of high dilatability sodium bentonite (which can be 10~30 times of its original volume after absorbing water and then become gel-like structure)and sandwiched between two layers of needle punching non-woven geotextile. Area weight of the finished product is 4500g/sqm, and permeability coefficient is as high as 10-9CM/S. With roll width of 6m, and standard roll length 30m, it can be installed easily even temperature is lower than 30 Celsius. In a wordGCL is a new type of environment friendly waterproof liner.
